MONDAY
Our Elders meet on the 3rd Monday evening of each month. They meet in the parlor to discuss concerns of the church. They pray for the individuals in our congregation who are ill or just need a prayer.
Mary Brown's Girl Scouts meet every other Monday evening in Fellowship Hall.
TUESDAY
The men's group 'Coffee for Bears' meet on the second Tuesday morning of each month. They take turns providing treats (some are like a whole meal) and have a devotion by someone within the group. This group also helps out financially and physically on a few projects each year.
God's Crafters, meet every other Tuesday afternoon of each month to do sewing projects for various functions during the year.
WEDNESDAY
CROSS JOURNEY meets at 5:30 on Wednesday evening several different times of the year. These are generally 6 week long sessions. The main purpose is to have children eating at the same table with adults, playing games with adults, and in general just getting to know the adults of our church, and for the adults to know the children in our church.
OPENING TO ALL BIBLE STUDYmeets at 6:00 on Wednesday evenings in the Church Parlor.
The WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY group also meets at 6:00 on Wednesday evenings.
CHANCEL CHOIR We are truly blessed here at Belmont with a wonderful Chancel Choir. They are always looking for more members but the ones who are there certainly make some wonderful presentations. We also have a Children's Choir as well as a Bell Choir
THURSDAY
CWF, The Christian Women's Fellowship Group meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 9:15am. They enjoy a short christian devotion and some good friendly fellowship. Of course there are some treats involved. They work on projects throughout the year to aid those in need.
SUPPER FOR SAINTS meets on the 4th Thursday evening at 6:30pm. They enjoy a meal together as church friends. Yes, the spouses are invited to this one. Restaurants will be named in the Beacon so you will know where the next meeting will be held.
FRIDAY
The Salina Twirlers, a square dance group, uses our Fellowship Hall generally on the 1st and 3rd Friday evenings each month.
Belmont Game Night, an evening in the Church Parlor where game skills are tested and much fellowship is enjoyed. Many various games have been played and the group seems to like to try some new card games at times. They also have played various domino games. And here again, just like many of our group gatherings, there is snacks involved.
Wedding Rehearsals are often held here on Friday evenings, especially for a Saturday Wedding.
SATURDAY
Many Weddings are held here at Belmont on Saturdays.
Saturday events include a variety of events ranging from an all church clean-up and work day, garage sale, craft sale, annual auction; to whatever someone wants to do on a Saturday. Many fellowship events seem to be held on Saturday.
